About Me
During my nurse training I was privileged to be present at a family’s first birth. The memories of this amazing experience stayed with me through my nursing career and I always knew that I would return to midwifery. I’ve been a midwife now for almost four years and practice in a busy local maternity unit. I am passionate about natural childbirth and am devoted to helping women; their partners and their babies achieve a gentle and fulfilling birth experience.
Having come across a leaflet about HypnoBirthing® several years ago, it sparked an interest in me to learn more. It talked about everything I firmly believed about birth and that I wanted every woman in my care to experience. I had a strong desire for mothers and babies to experience a gentle and joyous birth. In 2008 I studied HypnoBirthing® ~The Mongan Method in Co Clare, Ireland and am now a certified HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator.
I truly believe in women’s own ability to give birth gently, confidently and joyfully and am delighted to be able to share the HypnoBirthing® programme with women and their families.
